The Metal part of the Fan has to be installed in the wall then you have hook up the electrical plug if you did not
You have to know how to do this project or you would have to hire an electrician to set it up. I already had the hole in the wall the right size for this installation or it would have been a bigger project. not too loud.
fairly easy to install, innocuous looking. it is loud, but not, as some have indicated, as loud as a vacuum cleaner. the noise can be mitigated by purchasing a rheostat- (the nu-tone suggested by eBay works fine) and turning it down just a little, much quieter and still plenty effective.
