If you are looking for detailed, crunchy almost Harryhausen-ish ship battle rules, super detailed worlds and myriad new foes, you've probably come to the wrong place. This version of Spelljammer is VERY light on all of that, much like the ship combat in Ghosts of Saltmarsh. The focus is on travelling through the Astral Sea in a short time. BUT, the fact that there are few RULES for this new universe, some DESCRIPTION of the worlds would really assist in getting the players to have a feel for it. For the deeply discounted price of less than one book, there is enough here in the ship deckplans alone to make it worthwhile. I give Spelljammer 5e 5 out of 10.
