    Be ready to do some modifying.

    First, let me state that I do like the tank and think it looks good on the KLR650. I had to reshape the rear mounting bracket fit the contour of the tank and extend the bolt holes. I could only use the brackets provided on the left side and could not use them at all on the right. On many forums, riders that own a IMF tank say to only use the rear mounting bracket. Once I got it fitted, I used silicone on the bolts as recommended by the manufacturer. I did e-mail the manufacturer with a question and never did get a response. Would I buy one again knowing what I know now, good question.

    Everything's perfect except finish.

    It's a great tank for the money but it comes looking sanded on and it looks like a shiny finish in pics. It's a rough bike so no big deal to me but don't expect a shiny tank without doing your own polish / buffing.
