    Rainbow Green Live-Food Cuisine by Gabriel Cousens

    An extremely well written book, I bought it in soft cover. Its easy to handle and packed full of explantions and recipes which include among others: soups, salad dressings, entree, even carrot cake. If you want to heal yourself from a diet that has not been healthy, this book is a valuable resource. I especially liked that the author gives you other places to go for more information and education if you so desire. This is a must have book for anyone seeking holistic healing.

    Unrelated to the average persons 'normal' and usual daily consumption.

    I am a diabetic and was looking for a way to, hopefully, get off insulin. I was following information on Dr. Cousens and saw one of his videos where he helped many diabetics get completely off their meds and insulin altogether. This indeed has healthy foods, raw and cold. Totally vegan. This is part of Dr. Cousens' Tree of Life program, which is a spiritual and dietary retreat to cleanse the body of toxins and disease caused from 'everyday' life. I think in order to do this you would have to actually go to his retreat ($$$$$) which I do not have. A person would need special training to practice this way of life.

    Lively Living Food, excellent advice

    I love live, organic, vegan food, & I purchased this book after finishing Dr. Cousens's latest (There Is a Cure for Diabetes). Unlike other live food books I own, this one provides up-to-date info on foods purported to be live that aren't (e.g. wild rice), alternatives to soy products (e.g. chick pea miso), and how to raise healthy children (not an issue for me personally, but what could be more important?). The recipes are presented by category, and the book offers myriad choices, making it easy to adapt the recipes according to season and location. Most importantly, each recipe is coded according to its suitability to YOUR level of health and fitness. Whether you want new ideas for salads & dressings, or sweet & savory treats for your hardcore vegan friends, you'll find it in these ...

    Great Anti=Diabetes Diet

    Fantastic anti diabetes recipes. My doctor commended me on lowering my blood glucose level to normal because I followed Dr. Cousens' recommendations on live food diet.

    Great book and author

    A-1 book. If your interested in "Raw Food Diet" then this is what your looking for. If nothing else it will broaden your food horizens. No better author than Gabriel Cousens. Great! Just what I was looking for.
