Harry Potter Years 1-4
I was lucky to find the 4 vol. PB set in almost new condition with only Year 1 actually read by someone's daughter. I cannot imagine anyone not wanting to read the other 3 vol. of the set. The author has written a top-knotch storyline for this wizar- fantasy story much on the line of The Wizard of Oz. L Frank Baum also wrote other volumes and sequels to the original Wizard of Oz. I wonder if he got the fame notoriety that the British author has gained in the last ten plus years. Back when the original Wizard of Oz was written, there were no TV's, dvds, book signings and personal appearances at book stores everywhere. I have read as of June 15, 2009 the first 2 volumes and will surely read the remaining 2 in my set. I do not know if the last 3 years of the serial have been compiled into ... loved this set of books great buy
I loved that it was a very well kept set of books. I was little worried about how long it took them to arrive, but I understand the mechanics of a little town and know that the postal system is kind of slow. It was definetely worth the wait. I decided to buy these books because I have several age groups of children and I figured I liked the books so did the oldest child and they pass their books along for the others to read, so far we have had a great time with book discussions about these books. It is also a set we will be able to keep and re-read in the furue.. thanksI loved that it was a very well kept set of books. Great for Reading Homework. Helpful Review READ . . .
I bought this Harry Potter Book set for my son. He is 7yrs old, and likes Harry Potter and MAGIC. For school he has to read 15 min a day, this set will last a while. What i like about this set is that the books are consecutivly numbered 1-4. As the Numbers of the books get higher so do the amount of pages. This is a Great set for early readers. There should be more pictures, Doesnt everyone like pictures to follow a story, No matter what the age ? I would by these again.I bought this Harry Potter Book set for my son.
