I read good reviews about this phone so I found it on ebay & ordered it.......received it fast, packed great & I find it to be a great little phone for the money. I don't use my smartphone a lot but I like to have it w/me at all times. Friends can reach me if they need to, I can text people or play games.......whatever. This is my second smartphone & I absolutely love this phone 100% better than the last one. Very easy to find what you need or download apps......I think it's a great phone for what I paid. The battery life isn't so hot but I find no other faults w/this phone. I'm very happy w/the service & the product.

I love this model - this is the second unit I have owned, and it's still a great size, has great battery life, and operates quite smoothly (the only major issue is the small amount of storage space). HOWEVER, the quality control seems to be inconsistent. The first unit I bought was the European flavor (XT1524), which had a surprisingly crappy front-facing camera (weird distortions and blurriness as if taking a picture through water). That didn't bother me too much, but now I have this American AT&T flavor (XT1527) which seems to have a better front-facing camera, but has a really annoying screen where you can see the touch-screen grid as a row of ghostly vertical lines across the screen about half the time (the previous unit definitely does NOT have this issue). Super annoying! This may not be the case for all units, but it bothers me enough that I have to lower my rating from 5 to 3 stars.Read full review

We really like this phone. It is small, but it has good sound, it's got a good picture, it has plenty of storage space for your files and it is a good price for a smart phone AND it's a Motorola!!! That last part was really important to us.

I bought this phone to replace an LG G3. Yes. I did. This phone ships with the older AT&T version 23-201-2-sernia_att-en-US-att (replace -with periods) After power on and setup, the phone will ask you if you want to update. DO NOT UPDATE. MetroPCS asked Moto to remove band 12 on the phone. Band 12 is the extended 4G-LTE which disables LTE on the phone. Metro did this (imho) for a stupid reason, but there you go, its done and gone. If you want to remove the nagging update, you'll need to turn off notifications and disable the app MotoOTA, If you perfomed the upgrade, there is no way to go back that I know of. If you love the phone, only solutions I can think of are A) buy another non-upgraded phone or root the phone. I've heard of at least one version of NOUGAT running on this phone.Read full review
