    The best upright vacuum.

    This is my second Hoover Wind Tunnel and I still love it, if it's possible to live a vacuum. I still have my first Hoover Wind Tunnel and it would be my only one if my ex-housekeeper had not tried to force it when she was changing the height. It has great suction, a long and sturdy cord, its not too heavy, self propelled and the bags are easy to change and throw away. I have 2 short hair dogs who seem to lose a ton of hair and this does a great job at capturing all of it. The attachments are stored on the back and are easy to use. I gave it 4 stars because most everything can be improved. If you are looking for a new vacuum, this is what you should buy.

    I bought this vacuum because I thought my 5 year old Wind Tunnel was giving out - it WASN'T

    Great vacuum, but NOT the model advertised. That's why I gave it three stars. The model I received is U5491900 Practically identical to the one advertised. Still, you SHOULD get what you pay for! Just received, assembled, and tested the one received yesterday. Initially, it works great - as does the 5 year old U50000. (Apparently, I made a mistake when reassembling after replacing belts. Now working perfectly.)

    Fair price, above average cleaning ability, unknown reliability

    I had a Hoover WindTunnel Upright Premium that worked great for over 10 years, at more than twice the price. Thought this non-premium model was very fairly priced. If I can get 5 yrs of use, I'll be happy, considering the price. I've only used this vacuum about 5 times; I'm happy with its ability to pick-up lint, etc. (I have no pets). This vacuum is a little heavy, but the self-propel feature makes it easy to use. Several reviewers complained about the hose length, but the extension tubes provide adequate length for me. This is not a quite vacuum. The cord length is shorter than the premium model I previously owned, but not unusually short. To extend the life of the self-propel feature, do not pick-up the vacuum by the drive control handle (use the recessed handle on the lower back ...

    A dream come true

    Love the ease of use with the self propelled feature. Had one previously that was bagless and it's the only type of vacuum we can use as our carpet is so thick. Not crazy about a bag and the cord is shorter than the previous one. The vacuum was listed as used but there is not a mark on it, looks brand new. Price was great, delivery was fast and very satisfied and would highly recommend this item.

    Powerful, but heavy

    I am impressed with the power of this vacuum. It has great suction, and many easy to use attachments. The only issue I have with it is the weight. It is heavy! If it weren't self propelled, I don't think I could push it. I bought is specifically to use in my upstairs rooms, so I wouldn't have to lug my other vacuum up and down the stairs. I got this one up the stairs, and it is never coming down!
