    Hard Drive vs SSD

    May not be the fastest on the market, but compared to a Hard Drive, it now takes me about 10 seconds to boot, which took 70 seconds to boot before. I made a mirror image of the Hard Disk, so the OS, programs, and files all stayed the same. A much more expensive SDD would probably shave off another 2-3 seconds, but for an older PC, it's not worth it (not sure if it's worth it for a new PC.)

    Good value, tweak needed to make it work

    After the purchase I discovered that people have had issues with the WD Green SSDs on both BSD and Linux. I initially ran into write errors on FreeBSD but worked around it by disabling the hardware write cache (kern.cam.ada.write_cache=0). No problems since. Other SSDs I've tried have just worked without any such tweaks. I'll keep it, but probably won't buy another.

    I love my SSD drive

    I installed this drive with Windows 10 and it boots in 30 seconds. It was a very nice upgrade.

    Quality and Great Price SSD

    This SSD has a really good price and believe me I take a lot of time searching for quality and price. Plus reading reviews and talking to others who have tried the product no matter what the product is. After deciding on this SSD it arrived very fast and installed in a old Inspiron E1705 laptop without a hitch. What a difference in speed from the old HDD. Running Windows 10 64bit is much easier now. Everything loads faster and video works quite a bit better considering it has a integrated video that I can not up grade. I would recommend this Western Digital 240 GB SSD to anyone looking for Quality and a decent price.
