Better than the rest
Solid construction, no screws or assembly is required other than to secure it to a stump for stability. The ring is wider than the competition on eBay and the blade had a plastic guard for safety. If this wasn’t going to last 100 years I would buy another one.

I would consider hydraulic log splitter.
It will not split a 10-15 “ inch piece of wood! Video showed man using a piece of wood as a hammer. “Yeah right”! I used a 3lb hammer and it wouldn’t even budge. Unless it’s a short piece or already almost split for you. I’m not happy with it.
