Good quality soft pastels in pencil format
This is the set of 48 pastel pencils providing a good range of colours. They blend quite well and you can get better coverage with a blending stump. I did find some scratchy hard areas though. They were were packed in a cardboard box rather than a tin and the interior plastic did not protect them so many arrived with the point broken. When I tried to sharpen them, they were too big for my standard sharpener. Although pencils are meant for finer detail than sticks, they blunted quickly so I will use them for blending larger areas.This is the set of 48 pastel pencils providing a good range of colours. Really impressed
I loved pastel chalks when I was at school and have dabbled off and on for years..was not sure what to expect with these ,but was so impressed I started the sky ,as I was just going to do the background with them ,loved the look and feel of them and finished the whole picture in them.. Conte a Paris have that certain "je ne sais quoi"
My first time using pastel pencils, very pleased with the results. These are very reasonably priced compared to other makes, which, with their quality makes them an excellent buy, I look forward to using this very clean alternative to pastels again later today.
