    TP-Link 200 mps powerline adapter

If you need to hook up a computer to the net because of low WiFi signal or you are looking for a more solid/stable connection the TP-Link powerline adapter is the way to go. This one is nice if you only need to hook up 1 or 2 computers. 200 mps is a bit slow for any more computers. I use these to hook up my TV's to the net and have 600 mps units at the router and my computer. This saves you from having to run Ethernet cables to computers that are too far from the router. The only drawback to using these is they need a direct plug to the power supply so they take up space on the power plugs. I did have to get a couple of Ethernet cables so I could plug them in to power plugs that were not near the computer. So be aware of that before purchase. I defiantly love the speed/stability of my ...

  • Easy setup, good value

The product was easy to setup. Just press one button on either end. I have installed the same product four years ago and they are still working like new. Every once in a while, (once a year) they have to be reconnected. Usually after a power outage. The only thing is I could only get up to 29 Mb throughput on a 100 Mb internet connection.

  • Work great! You just need them on circuits of the same phase.

These work great, technology has vastly improved with these things. I didn't test for the max throughput but I easily get the full speed of my internet connection, which is what most people would use them for anyway. Just be sure they are both on circuits that are connected to the same phase in the breaker box or the speed will be really slow.

  • Very Easy to Install

Have a small out building that my wife uses as we call her "ScrapShack". it has a buried electrical cable from a water pump house fed from an outside power panel. I plugged it in inside the house first to pair them up, then move one to my router and the other in an outlet in the "ScrapShack". Took it all of 10 seconds to communicate with the other one at the router and Internet connection was available. Highly recommended.

  • Works Great

Worked great with no setup required. I lost zero speed from router to outlet on other end of house. I recommend this product for anyplace where the wifi has interference or is intermittant.
