I was leary about buying a refurbished ac unit but did anyway. It has worked great so far, has remote control which makes it easy (or me lazy) to control and cools my RV well. My central ac does not work in my 44 foot RV/trailer and this compensates for that. Only thing I wish I would of done was, order one with a heater. The furnace on my RV does not work either....bought fixer upper RV not knowing neither worked but this ac does the job! LOVE IT SO FAR!!!I was leary about buying a refurbished ac unit but did anyway. "Powerful and Easy Install"
Really nice unit with remote. I have vinyl windows, so install was tricky but easy. It is quick to cool even on Energy Saver. It is relatively quiet compared to some others. It doesn't cycle continually, so that is a nice feature too. The cord length is generous. The instructions are clear and easy to understand. We are very impressed. Would buy the same unit again.

We’ve been using this unit for several months now. It’s in the bedroom (18 x 24) and we are so very satisfied with this purchase. I did a lot of comparisons before we chose this LG from E Bay, and reviewed comments about the seller. There were comments on all sites about this model being especially noisy which concerned me at first. But everyone has made comments about every a/c model I’ve read. There is a slight clunking noise when the unit turns off and on, but we’ve gotten so used to it it’s not distracting at all. We read, talk and watch tv, it hums along and has kept us cool in this summer heat that’s been in the 90’s and 100’s. Our bedroom is on the second floor of an old house, and by leaving it permanently set on 73 degrees we are comfortable Day and night. ... We’ve been using this unit for several months now. Enjoying the air conditioner
The LG 12000 works very well to cool my downstairs area. I have a Victorian home with several rooms. a library and living room plus kitchen seperated somewhat by a long hall. I put the air conditioner in the dining room, and it cools the kitchen, dining room, and living room quite well. The library is on the other side of the downstairs so it does not receive as much of the coolness, although enough to be satisfactory. I love that it is quiet. I did have to bring in a handyman for installation which took about 2 hours, but I am satisfied. I bought air conditioner covers for the outside and indoors for the off season as we live in northern Vermont. I did not want to remove the unit once it was in place as it is quite heavy and complex to install.The LG 12000 works very well to cool my downstairs area.
