Product Information

A Nintendo-exclusive Sims spin-off, SimAnimals provides players with a virtual forest setting, stocked full with families of cute little interactive animals to nurture, neglect, or nettle as they see fit. Players interact in the game world by arranging and re-arranging objects. Using an animated hand, they can pick up and set down essentially anything in the forest, including rocks, logs, flowers, and trees, as well as the animals themselves. Some animals, such as deer, hedgehogs, owls, rabbits, and squirrels, like to live and play in peace. Other animals, such as foxes, raccoons, and crows, can't seem to have any fun at all without causing a little trouble. As they play, gamers are faced with challenges concerning the ways that the animals interact and the environments that encourage particular behaviors. Solving these puzzles, and making the forest a nicer place for its inhabitants, unlocks new objects and powers for players to use. The DS version of the game features a top-down view and a simple point-and-drag interface for a sense of hands-on touch-screen control.

Good Game and ebay had it listed for a cheep price.
Learned a couple things about animals from this game. My son age 9 1/2 liked this game. He defeated it quickly but says he will keep playing it till her gets more reward. He says there is more things left for him to do even after defeating it, as he calls it. Game is easy. My son said he didnt like the part when the animals got upset and left away from the other animals they was around. Good solid game. Lots of fun.
This is a fairly simple game. It is not like the other Sim games because you aren't getting to create an avatar that you then manipulate. But it is a lot of fun. The graphics are cute. You are the manager of a forest. You need to encourage animals to move in and then keep them happy so they will stay. If you move things past an animal too fast it scares them - which is pretty funny.

This product is great for use on long trips and good on your pocketbook.
I bought this item for my grandson to go in his easter things He like the sim DS products he does the DS to calm himself down after his home work before bed and on road trips. Some of the other games make him hipper this product camls him.
