RCA DVD Changer -GREAT ITEM!
I think someone didn't know how to use this! I have one and it works GREAT! At first I didn't understand that High Definition ONLY works when you use that special HDMI cable, and then go through the setup and PICK this option. I have a 1080i TV, and with it SET to 1080i and the HDMI cable connected, it REALLY DOES upgrade the picture to HIGH DEFINITION! BEAUTIFUL! And when the optical cable is connected to my Surround Sound system, the thing puts out INCREDIBLE Dolby Surround Sound!! Try the move "Dark Knight" ... you'll be BLOWN AWAY!!! I bought this player cause it was a 5 disc player and i like having more than one movie in a player at one time. I had a sony before this so i was kind of spoiled. This player is slow when loading a movie, it also has no memory like my sony did. I could turn the sony off and resume the move at the point where i stopped watching. On the RCA you have to start from the begining also if you leave it on pause for to long or stop a movie and not start it again for a period of time it turns the power off, hense you have to start your movie all over again anyway. It also doesnt always read the disc that you have in the trays. you have to eject them and reload them some times. I think I'll find another sony 5 disc and give this one to my son. He said he did mind all of that stuff as long as he ... I bought this player cause it was a 5 disc player and i like having more than one movie in a player at one time. It's a very nice DVD player. I havn't had a chance to use it as of yet. I bought it in hopes to play my new HD movie but I found out it would not play DVD's in High Def (HD). So I'm a little bumbed there. But I can still use it for other movies. It's nice and compact.

Wrong Information in prior reviewer's statement
What this prior reviewer failed to realize is that in order to GET High Def from this player, you MUST use the HDMI cable. Then, you simply go into the Setup settings and select either 1080i or 1080p (depending on your High Def TV), and VOILA --- you get High Definition (upshift) from your regular DVD's.

Didn't work
Because of the reputation of RCA's quality, I expected a great product, but it wouldn't even power up and we had people experienced in electronics look at it. Would not work at all.
