    Don't feed the gorilla.

    Using the gorilla with a student regarding an object lesson. The book is, 'Letters from Grandpa." It addresses practical solutions in dealing with life situations that children and adults are faced with. This Grandfather discourages negative behaviors and the use of Christian coping skills. The grandfather reminds his grandchildren not to feed the gorilla ie negative behaviors such as name calling, lying etc Make tiny felt bananas with negative behaviors and have the student identify what they are "feeding the gorilla."
