  • A little lacking.

This book was just ok. Totally readable, but not that interesting. The fact that it was more of a Ultramarine Corps book and as a reader I was hardly connected to the Corps, other than the four from the main JLA book. I bought it because it was supposed to be a precursor to Seven Soldiers of Victory and maybe I'll have a greater appreciation after I read that, but not overall not impressed. Morrison, however forces one to raise the bar of expectations higher than most other comic writers.
