Sega's NHL 2K series moves from the Dreamcast to next-generation systems with NHL 2K3. The most notable addition is the option to play multiple seasons in Franchise Mode, where players can hire various scouts and coaches, conduct a fantasy draft, and manage rosters by signing free agents, releasing high-priced veterans, or trading for a young superstar. Players can also create their own likenesses with the Create-Player mode and assign ratings to a variety of skills. All NHL teams and players have been included from the 2001-2002 season, with home stadiums featuring animated crowds wearing team-specific jerseys.

Shipped a 20 year old piece of electronics in a bubble mailer because the PlayStation 2 that was described as “works great” was being sold for parts or repair with no regard for any additional damages in the soft packaging. May have withheld the fact that the unit was previously refurbished. It’s hard to say because that story changed. My least favorite interaction with this seller was when I told them I hadn’t opened the package and wanted to return it and they accused me of theft. Buyer beware

We apologize that we could not accept the return. We sold this item “as is” because as you can see in the photos, it was already opened up and the seal was already broken. The bubble mailer we used was very high quality with large bubbles. We sent 2 other ones out like this and had no complaints.     Not a fan, EA Sports Games are Better!!!

    NHL 2K3 I've never been a fan of the 2K series of hockey games. And 2K3 is no different! Sega could do a lot better job with this game and I expect they will on the new systems! Here's my list of reasons why: - Too easy to score - Gameplay not realistic - Players look like they're floating not skating - Unlockable teams only have numbers on jerseys not actual players - Controls are awkward and hard to get used to - Put in features that most people will find repulsive Final Verdict: 2/5 Rent or Buy?: As I said at the beginning, I've never been a fan of the 2K series of hockey games, if you're looking for a great Hockey game pick up a copy of NHL 06 for multiplayer and NHL 07 for Xbox 360 for overall play.     Pure Fun!!!

    Eventhough it doesn't match up the the graphic details to 360's or PS3's, it's a really fun game. It's fun to play some of the old players of the early 2K's.
