Excellent climber! Safe and very comfortable and quiet!
I own several summit viper climbing stands and purchased the goliath stand for the extra room when wearing bulky clothing during late season hunting. I like the summit stands because they are easy to use with no extra bolts or pins to lose and they are quiet,comfortable and safe as they are made of quality material right here in the U.S.A.! This Goliath stand is made with sound deafening material and the carry straps are heavy duty which should last a long time. I also like the stirrups on foot platform that stay on your feet when elastic cord is behind your heels. Very clever design compared to other stands of this type. Super comfortable!
This is the second climber I have had, the first was a hand me down from my dad years ago. This stand makes we want to hunt more that's how comfortable it is! It's very easy to climb with, the setup and takedown is a little time consuming to get everything tied down and secure. It's not hard just time consuming until I do it enough to make it second nature. The shoulder straps that come with it are not good, they are elastic and with my pack and crossbow tied down to the stand the whole thing would bounce as I walked. I swapped those for the shoulder straps off an old backpack and it is so much better. I also fashioned a hip belt like a backpack would have to take the pressure off my shoulders and now it is perfect! Even with the shoulder strap problem I give this 5 stars because of just how comfortable the seat is in this thing!!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Best Stand Ever
Thanks for a great product. I'm a 6'6 320# man and tried it out as soon as I received it. I have 2 other popular brand climbers but they do not compare to the rock solidness of this stand and how comfortable it is. Be careful!
Be careful when you buy and use this stand. I used it for the first time on my deer lease and got way too comfortable and wound up asleep. Great stand. I will never use another brand. It work great in a trees with the thicknes of 1" bark
