I was looking for a good galvanized post anchor and I found this after a great deal of searching on line. These are just what the Dr, ordered to get my mail box back up and receiving mail again. In the northern States we have to put up with the snow plows trying to knock over our mail boxes every year, it was my turn to replace the base of my mail box that was set into concrete, which I found not to be the best solution to the problem, the metal base had been holding on by a thread since last winter and just finished breaking off. I'm hoping this spike style anchor will have a little more give/spring to it driven into the ground instead, so as not to get snapped off so easily. The battle goes on though, and the foe is relentless, so I must prepare the next battle plan. {;-{D.S.

Nice post anchor. It’s designed to not require cement but I’m using it for a mailbox post so I cemented it anyway. It’s really heavy duty and I know I won’t have a problem.
