So glad I found this.
I had one of these back in the day and I don't know what happened to it when I saw this on eBay I knew I had to have it once you have spun it around and it takes the air off if you do that two or three times your hair will not grow back

Disappointing results on Braun Silk-Epil hair remover
I actually decided to toss this product after two uses. It did not work for me, but maybe it will work for others. Once in a while it would "catch" a hair in the mechanism head, but not consistently. It was not as painful as I thought it would be, so maybe that is a sign that it was not working that well. Also, it caused me to break out in large red bumps for several hours afterwards. I have a long history of using hair removal wax, etc, and have never had particularly sensitive skin before. Some redness and irritation is to be expected, but this seemed excessive to me. Also, I should say, however, that I have a coarser facial hair, so maybe for finer hairs it would work. I would like to say, too, that I have never used a facial epilator before, so maybe this is a normal reaction ... I actually decided to toss this product after two uses. Make sure you will be able to use a product before purchase!

This is my second one, first one lasted 10 years. I'm a guy and use it for ear hair, I like neat and tidy and does a great job around the outside, lobe and inner. I have gotten similar for the wife but none are made as well as this one and no one now makes one this good with metal grippers.
