Product was an exact replacement for the worn out check valve in our 14 year old Kitchen Aid dishwasher. We were hoping it would fix the "odor" problem that we thought was being caused by the old valve letting water stand in the bottom of the dishwasher disposer unit. While it fixed the water issue, we still have a sulfur odor, so need to do some more investigating. There are videos on line which made replacing this part easy.

This little rubber piece is the biggest single point of failure in dishwashers that have them. Wise choice is to change them out every 5 years or so before they fail. I replaced pump, tore the darn thing apart several times before I found the problem. The round part had broken off, and was blocking the drain tube where a 90 degree angled black connector to pump.outlet hid the blockage from view.

Though product is from the original manufacturer, it is smaller than the part that it replaced. Apparently, the manufacturer is making the part smaller but it does not work as well as the original part in my dishwasher.

Used to replace defective backflow valve. Perfect fit and perfect repair. Dishes were showing up with tiny pieces of material on them. This fixed the problem.

Great price! This is a discontinued item, which costs $40 from a retailer, if he is able to locate one. This fixed our dishwasher right up for quite a huge discount.
