An exellent professional machine
An exellent professional machine. I am a fulltime professional furnituer maked for over 30 years. This is my second Mirka orbital sander, we wore out the first after 12 years industrial use. I have owned other brands before buying a Mirka. It gets heavy industrial use in the paint shop area in my workshop for de-nibbing flat sections of furniture. This is an exellent sander with great dust extraction when used with a compatable extractor, and the mesh discs. I also recomend a 1.5 .mm velcro pad to fix between the sander orbitial disc and the actual sanding mesh it will prolong the velcro on the machines head and give more cushion for the process and user. Again an exellent professional machine, comfortable in the hand and robust. the only down side is a little expensive, but for me the ... An exellent professional machine. Did not think this was possible
I’ve always felt filling and sanding is something ending up in a lot of wasted time. Putting a lot of effort into not filling too much but still end up sanding, tidying up, filling and sanding again “forever” to reach a good end result. My new boss had one of these and I never thought a sander could be an exciting tool but as soon as I tried it it quickly jump straight to the top of my “tools I have to buy” list. It makes things so easy, it’s hard to explain but it’s just the perfect sander. I can fill with some excess and sand off with ease. I strongly recommend to connect it to a Hoover, the dust extraction is phenomenal! I’ve seen existing dust on the work surface getting sucked into the sanding pad, essentially leaving the work cleaner than before sanding it, amazing. It’s not cheep ... Absolutly fantastic sander. Double the price and some of a normal orbital sander, but no vibration, minimal noise , no numb fingers after using it. Sands in a fraction of the time of the cheaper ones. Should have bought this years ago.

super smooth ,quiet.efficient and makes the most boring tedious part of my job more enjoyable i used to use an air sander but much prefer this electric one and will save on electric as it's not using my compressor i was so impressed i have orderd the flat bed electric sander also
