    This remote works great for our five year old tv. Two of the shortcut buttons aren’t compatible for our five year old tv but I had a feeling that might be the case when I bought it.     It linked up very quickly and easily to our TV. I look forward to many years of faithful service. We have a "knock off" for about two years but its poor battery contacts inside require you to open and reinsert the batteries every so often. I sincerely hope that this brand new OEM product does alot better. So far so good.

      Nice upgrade over original remote

      Bought this to replace the remote for Bravia 77" A80J. I wanted the backlit feature but I was also pleased with the improved feel when pressing the buttons. They have a distinct click when pressed. The original was ok but it had a softer, mushy feel. The backlit on the replacement remote is not overly bright and the 'Back" and "Home" keys that are blue when lit are harder to see in the dark. However, this isn't a big deal. The remote seems to have a little better quality to it over the original but it's close. Setting up the remote to sync with the tv was easy but getting it to work with my Verizon cable box took a little effort but works fine. I agree with other reviewers that Sony should have included this remote with the TV. Guess that's why the A90J is so pricey Overall, very satisfied

      Great lighted remote upgrade

      This remote is a replacement upgrade for my Sony XR 55A80J TV the remote that came with it was not a lighted remote but the one that comes with the Sony XR 55A90J TV is so I found this on eBay. It was brand new never opened and was shipped fast and I received it in great condition. Had to deregister the old remote first than registered the new one to my tv in the tv settings.

      Really Nice Upgrade for Sony XR80J

      Product worked perfectly for my Sony Bravia XR80J. The XR80J's remote isn't backlit like this one, so I was super happy to see that this was easy to pair with the TV. It has a back light which turns on whenever the remote is moved.

      Sony will tell you this remote doesn’t work with your A80J TV but it does. Super easy to connect and it’s worth the backlit feature.

      Works for my Sony X95

      Remote with back light, should be a no-brainer for manufactures, but maybe they need cash!!! Lol, love this remote, lift or touch, lights up. Most used app buttons A+. Works perfect for my Sony X95.
