The story is what a fan of the books and shorts will come to expect and recognize. The artwork, scene selection and dramatic sequential rendering are all very good. I was reminded of some of Neal Adams work on Batman and Conan. All in all, a satisfying comic book read. Yes, I realize that there are those that push for the Graphic Novel (Novella?) label or perhaps even sequential art story label. Whatever you wish to label the artistic output, it is a satisfying read.
This is a hardback that takes the 4 comics of the 'Welcome to the Jungle' and gives you the whole story at one read. This is a new story, so if you want all the written ones its a must have! The art that went into the different covers is included in the back pages. Also you get to see a few of the idea pages with early character sketches. I value shopped and found this gem of a comic hardback for my Dresden File book collection!
Engaging material with good story telling and fun graphics!
