    Great patterns but complicated

    I’ve barely met a quilting book I didn’t love. This one is perfect for making some cool blocks, but not good for making quilts because the blocks themselves are so complicated with so many pieces. Some pieces blocks have >30 pieces so not ideal for a quilt but great for a pillow or wall hanging. It would’ve been nice to see some overall quilts made from these blocks. The book is nice but after browsing through it, I’ll pass it on.

    A good companion to other quilting patterns

    As in all of Quiltmaker magazines this a product that is easy to follow the instructions. Divided into groups of paper piecing, block patterns, "how to" sections, etc.

    This book is great. It has so many beautiful quilt blocks. It also comes with a CD that lets you print out the patterns.
