    A Must Have film for Kurosawa fans, one if his best, great movie!

    I saw this film on the big screen when it has it's theatrical release in the 80's, ever since I wanted to own it and when I found it on blue ray I went for it. It is a film that needs a big screen and a good sound system to get the full effect. My 32 inch flat screen did not do it justice, don't get me wrong I enjoyed it, now I have a reason to go for a much larger TV! If you enjoy Kurosawa films this is a Must Have film especially if you have never seen it.

    Foreign Film Master

    I have been thrilled by Kurosawa's storytelling, adaptations and intensity. "Ran" is no exception. This is a Criterion Film. Criterion collection films are not cheap. But, the film is worth the money and I highly recommend it.
