I don't have opinion of the internal hub, I'm bought it to replace one that never worked right. I won't know until I install it. I am pleased with RBP for the affordable option I didn't have to buy the whole kit or whole wheel asm, I already have shifter. It is a lower end priced internal hub so perhaps I just wore the other one out. This one feels good, looks sharp. Less rolling resistance, better shifting, improved appearance. I replaced a EU version and it was difficult getting correct linkage. I found hardware kits for this one available that have it all. All your shifting asm and your hardware for your axle. Great purchase I'm buying another soon build a spare wheel
