Item was better than described in my opinion and it did come in a bubble mailer. The package came in a timely manner, and the seller was pretty communicative by sending email after payment asking for confirmation of the address and stating when they will most likely send my item during the week. Overall, great seller, would come again if give the chance to. If you have a chance to do business with them, please do! And thank you goodwill_colorado_springs for my MLP DVD!

  • Concrete Blonde's Comeback Album

I was soooo looking forward to this. I love this band and there songs. Excellent songwriting has always been one of my attractions to the bands music. This album is a little above average. Not as strong as their earlier albums. Johnettes vocals are still strong. Its not as strong as their previous albums in the sense that the previous albums seemed to have more melody. I did enjoy the tracks "Take Me Home" & "When I Was a Fool" (even though it sounds a little like "house of the rising sun" Blonde fans should of course add to their collection. Others may want to listen to their earlier stuff first.

  • after 6 or 8 years taking break from recording it's good not their best

ok for a concrete blonde cd

  • Concrete Blonde Rocks

Ok, so I love all things Concrete Blonde... This is an especially good album, though; most of the songs are jams. Johnette sings with an unapologetic abandon that I love(like, yeah, so what!) But she's grown and matured, and brings a different perspective from behind those same introspective eyes of hers. New drummer in this one, really good. Kicks butt!!

  • Wake me when it's over!

I was really excited when I found this CD. Couldn't wait to hear it and experience the voice of the great, Johnette Napolitano. Her singing is great, but listening to the CD as a whole was a chore, to say the least. I don't think I fully finished this CD one time. Buy the first three, skip this one, buy the Live in Brazil.

  • one of the best ......johnette at her finest

one of their best cds..............a classic...although its one of the later cds from the band,it proves that some things get better and more refined with age
