    My wife and I, my mother, father and now my sons have been driving Mercedes and BMW for more than a decade. We drive 10 US States as part of our business. Doing our own general maintenance and oil changes is something we enjoy and it saves money. Using the right replacement parts and the quality of these parts is crucial to achieving the level of performance these cars were designed for. MANN Filters is the only filter we have ever used - recommended by a BMW Mechanic (who said stay away from paper type filters that will degrade and enter your oil system) and supported by the many miles collectively driven, I wouldn't use anything else.     Excellent Oil Filter for Mercedes-Benz

    I have been using Mann oil filters in 5 different Mercedes over a period of 5 years and they hold up very well. Per my research, Mann filters are made out of a poly material which will not break down like some paper oil filters will, which could cause engine damage. I run my oil for 10,000 miles using only Mobile 1 Synthetic motor oil and Mann oil filters and have never seen any breakdown in the Mann oil filter over that long period of time. Excellent product.
