    A book for EVERYONE

    Revolutionary viewpoints, and very eye-opening. Although it is conservative it is a fresh new look at the way to treat one another in a relationship. A friend recommended the book to me to read and I was not enthusiastic because I thought it might be just another book on the topic of love and meaningless beloviation at that. I read it and it changed my whole perspective on some of the issues that our culture deals with. This book is relevant for all time and for male and female although there may be better books for males on the subject of chastity, Elisabeth Elliot is honest and pierces straight to the heart with truth. This is a must read for anyone. Married or unmarried, dating or single, male or female. Read it.

    Helpful Story of Wisdom and Encouragement

    Passion and Purity was a tremendous book and an enjoyable read. It was far more biographical than I had expected, but many good principles were extracted from Elisabeth Elliot's story. It was particularly encouraging and helpful for me, because I'm currently in a long-distance missionary relationship and felt that I could relate to Elliot in several ways. The book is, more than anything, an autobiographical love story with lots of wisdom and insight that could be helpful to almost anyone. I would recommend this book to anyone wanting to live a godly life in the area of relationships.
