    Great story with a valuable lesson

    My children love this story and read it several times after receiving it. They love the lessons that they learned in it. They pointed out some of the things that they learned without being prompted. Everyone is created for a purpose and everyone is unique. Highly recommend.

    Great Christian based Children's Book

    I bought two copies of this book after reviewing it in our adult Sunday School class. One was for my grand children and one for the family next door as Easter presents. I find problems with many children's books these days. There often seems to be underlying messages of which I do not approve or they simply do not have a strong message at all. I find this book excellent for any child to "grow with" through many years just like the acorn in the story. I highly recommend it.

    WONDERFUL book to help children discover life's purpose

    I highly recommend "The Oak Inside the Acorn". The story follows a small acorn who falls from the security of his "mother oak tree" into the back of a truck and travels by chance to his new home in a farmer's yard. There he learns what it means to grow to adulthood under God's guiding hand. He then has the opportunity to help the farmer's daughter to understand the meaning of "growing up" to be the very best that you can be. It beautifully portrays how children, just like acorns, can grow with time to become exactly what God intends them to be! The book is also filled with beautiful illustrations, making it a perfect book to read and re-read throughout the life of your child or grandchild!

    The Oak Inside the Acorn by Max Lucado (2006, Hardcover

    I had a great purchase experience.. For the money I was wanting to spend, I am very pleased and satified. It is very nice book with some awesome moral teaching for three year old children to the child heart in everyone :) I had found one book like this and needed a couple more for gifts.. so i was very glad to find!
