    Very good value

    The good news is that this my third Series 3. The not-so-good news is that it's my third in two years. The issue isn't that it doesn't shave well. It does. The charge lasts a long time (at least a week), it cleans easily and is wet/dry. The issue is that the razor shaver movements are three flimsy spires, two with springs, and they become very easily unattached or broken, especially during cleaning. So, be careful, check to make sure all the parts are in place after cleaning, and you should be all right.

    didn't look close enough

    I was looking at where the cord plugs in the shaver (which fit). I didn't look at the other end which does not fit in standard US wall outlets. It looks like it's a UK fitting. I am buying an adapter. I hope it works.

    Very good electric razor.

    I am usually a blade shaver. However, I had surgery and was on a blood thinner. I did not want to risk nicking myself and having uncontrollable bleeding. This shaver worked very well. I prefer it over the rotary type with three rotating heads.

    .Great Razor, but not "NEW" as described in listing. It's an "OPEN BOX"

    Well, it's NOT the Braun series 3 340 razor, but it IS the Braun 5 590CC razor. Mine came in an old beat up Braun box that had obviously been re-sealed with tape. The box had a big Hole punched in one side of it. When I opened it I found a new razor and power cord with the shrinkwrap on it and the cleaning fluid, but NO Warranty card or Factory owners manual. These are OPEN BOX Items and they are being sold as NEW. So...The razor itself is new and was sealed in a plastic shrinkwrap...BUT the box itself had been opened and all the paperwork had been removed because this is a return/damaged freight item so it comes with no Braun Warranty. IT IS NOT "NEW" LIKE IT SAYS IN THE LISTING. The Razor itself works great...I have no complaints about it. And the charging/cleaning stand is nice ...

    My new Braun razor

    What a great buy. I have been using Braun razors for 20 years and this is the best one yet. Charges fast and holds charge longer than any I have had and what a great close shave.
