the width is perfect for my henry 44mag and the color goes well with the wood furniture. the only complaint i have is that it is too long and i had to adjust it to its limit. however there is only two bolts to hold the strap and i had to use double sided tape to hold it together at the end or it had a huge loop. the leather strap that's there to help won't stay out and it kept sliding up with use. it would be nice if they included more bolts so that ya can put one at the end and one near swivel
