I paid for a combo pack (951 - cyan, magenta & yellow) pulse 950 - Black. I received the black and only magenta, but the cyan and yellow were missing. The combo box was open, and it had a tape on it, which makes me think that the seller knew exactly what he/she was doing. I didn't appreciate what appears to be fraudulent. Ebay did refund me my money when I complained.

    Pennies per page & can be modified easily!

    PROS; • Whether its color or black & white copies, this printer does it for pennies per page. • You can modify the printer so that you are not changing the printer cartridges or imaging drum too early. Buy the chips for the cartridges & image drum. • Also, get the extra ram chip for the printer, it will speed it up during down loading of information for your cpu to the printer. • The cartridges are refillable, & I got just over 2,800 copies before I needed to refill the cartridges. The image drum should last just over 6,000 copies. • Quality of color prints is better than even some ink printers. I even printed photos on photo paper & I must admit the quality was very impressive for a laserjet. Although I would still recommend a quality ink printer if you want high quality photos. • Set up ...

    HP LaserJet 2550n Laser Printer

    This is an Awesome Printer!!!!!! It prints high quality photos and Documents....The expandible memory and Network Interface are great features as well. Highly Reccommended.

    OK but has it's weaknesses

    While this printer has excellent print quality, it's build is on the cheap/flimsy/disposable side. Tray 1/MP Tray has problems feeding cardstock products, oyu have to "help it" to actually feed and not jam. Lastly, and maybe it's biggest flaw, is the smartchip technology that stops you from printing when the cartridge counter say so instead of when the cartridge is actually empty. It takes a bit to try to bypass this but when done, you actually get another 1000-2000 pages out of it. That's a lot of wasted toner you are being asked to throw away. I've since bought a pair of 4550s and they do not have these issues, not to mention more abundant availability of consumables at cheaper prices. Ultimately, it's OK if you are going to print to it infrequently and not use anything much heavier than ...

    Great color, ppm just OK-definitely a good buy, though

    I am a freeland graphic designer. I originally had an inkjet...a larger, more expensive CMYK model, but wet ink nonetheless. When providing proofs to my clients, I was always concerned about the ink. Some of them do the lick-n-flip page turn, which leaves them with messy fingers from the ink. I researched several laser printers before buying. My major concern - being a one-man-show - was the cost. I found this one on eBay for a great price. Gotta love eBay! The obvious advantage with the HP 2550 for my circumstance is that the ink isn't messy. Also, the color prints are very close to press colors, so my proofs are adequate without having to go to the printer for one or two pages. My only real complaint at this point is the cost and availability of toner cartridges. I live in a small town ...

    HP LaserJet 2550n Is the best for the price you like!!!

    I love this printer all together. It print high quality picture and documents. I was reading another review of this product and i don't know why this person had a problems with cardstock paper. I printed out ccalendars on cardstock paper without any problems. I have my own buissiness and it completely satisfies me. I am printing around 100 pages a day and had this printer for over then 6 month and still didn't have to buy new cartriges for it. I rate thisa printer 5 out of 5 for high quality, reliability and speed. Yes, first page comes out kind a slow, but then its just keep on going like an enregizer bunny. And by the way, Do you all know that snapfish is using HP printers? I know the pictures that i print out of my 2550n is the same quality as Snapfish or any other photo service. You ...
