    The Berenstain Bears' Christmas Tree

    I bought this book because it was my favorite childhood Christmas book. I was SO DISAPPOINTED to receive it and find out is has been Christianized by ZonderKidz! I am a Christian and celebrate the birth of Christ at Christmas, but there are more ways to teach your child about Jesus than changing a classic story so that it fits your ideology! All references to Santa are removed and quite a few phrases are changed or added. The result is rhymes that are awkward and a book that pales in comparison to the original. If you loved this book as a child, DO NOT get the new ZonderKidz edition. The original publication date is 1980. Such a disappointment...
