    Better Even Than Advertised

    Long story short - I didn't purchase these headphones for their 'noise canceling' ability. However, that said, it does do that reasonably well. I suspect anyone who "can't tell" the difference should be near a loud fan or other mechanically rhythmic sound - then put these on - THEN click on the noise reduction. It's quite dramatic. But again, I didn't purchase these headphones for that reason. Again long story short - these are some of the most remarkable iPod headphones you can purchase at a reasonable price. Quite frankly, if you use the so-called bud or socket type headphones that come with the digital player - you're basically listening to only 1/2 the sound the iPod can produce.     JVC HA-NC100 Noise Cancelling Headphones

    These headphones are awesome! They have a rewind feature that rewinds the cord into the earpiece when you are finished, like when its time to put away the electronics on a flight. No having to wind up the cord and no fighting with tangled wires when its time to use them! Its just too bad that JVC doesn't make a headphone with rewind anymore. The frequency response on these is excellent too. Hurry and get em now...

    Great Headphones

    These are very reasonably priced noise-reducing headphones ("canceling" a gross overstatement that all the manufacterers are happy to use). I have used them in planes, cars, and just at home--no complaints at all! The folding feature and travel bag make them especially good for people on the go.

    Great sounding headphones!!

    I had a set of these and left them in a taxi when on a trip to St. John. These are comfortable, easy on the ears, they fold up fairly compact, have a cord that rewinds inside the earpiece and they really kill the background noise when in the NC position. They sound much better than other, more expensive phones I have.

    PRODUCT QUALITY

    I like the quality of JVC products. The quality of the product was well worth the buy. The set of headphones is comfortable and does not give me a headache after usage. The sound quality beats the average set of headphones. The set of headphones was well taken care of by the previous owner.
