The item was poorly packaged considering it was glass and as a result, the electric range glass top arrived cracked and damaged, rendering the item useless. The item should have been crated before shipping and packed with lots of bubble wrap or Styrofoam to prevent it from moving in the package. Instead it was packaged in a makeshift carton box with a couple of pieces of sponge that did not even cover the entire item. Furthermore, it should have been clearly marked FRIGILE in big bold letters.
