The Vanguard VT-112 Tripod is a floor standing, multi-use aluminum tripod that can support the weight of most digital cameras and other photography equipment. The horizontal leg stabilizer and brace of the Vanguard Tripod come with a center lock to add strength, and to allow the angles of the legs to be adjusted to fit most terrains. Using a sturdy aluminum rhombic shape, the Vanguard VT-112 Tripod achieves a high ratio of strength versus weight. With the built-in carrying handle, this aluminum tripod can quickly and easily be transported wherever needed. The patented leg locking system keeps the legs from separating while being transported. With the included 2-way pan head, the Vanguard VT-112 Tripod provides a stable surface for panoramic rotation and front tilt. This Vanguard Tripod can handle equipment weighing up to 6.6 lbs and comes with spiked feet to provide secure placement on outdoor surfaces. With a folded height of just over 19 inches, the VT-112 model can be extended to a height of 49.5 inches.
