Boom for buck
I got this bass to record covers with due to its ease of finding the right tone, for that it is perfect, the feel and balance of this bass is near perfect, all the controls feel solid, tuners are solid, the sound is clean and clear and changing tones using the selector is perfect, just tweak to your looking. The active portion of this bass makes a huge difference creating sensitivity that passive bass guitars just can't achieve. The finish is conducive of a Yamaha product, nice, clean, smooth. To me the only thing somewhat negative is the playability out of the box, don't get me wrong, its not bad, just not as good as I expected according to all other reviews, set up and adjustments needed as opposed to what I would say most higher end basses would ship with. In conclusion I ...
