    High-quality Hold at Reasonable Price

    I am a male who has used American Crew Pomade for many years. It provides excellent hold and minimizes hair dryness, especially when applied while my hair is a bit wet. I have not had any problems with build-up. The scent is fairly subtle. Only a small amount (pencil-eraser-size) is required. I use it 6 to 7 days/week (after washing my hair), and a 85g / 3oz jar lasts me about 5 months, so it is a good value.

    This is not genuine American Crew Pomade

    Unfortunately, American Crew's Pomade is the victim of counterfeit pomade, frequently. The genuine product is NOT white, but looks more clear than anything. This white, counterfeit pomade does not have a strong hold, and smells different than the real thing (and not in a good way). Beware the counterfeit.

    Great product!

    Great medium hold product that gives some shine and a nice hold without being stiff. Unlike some Gel products with alcohol in them that will make your hair stiff and dry. It will also make yout hair slightly darker depending on your hair color.

    Just the right amount of hold

    American Crew Pomade has just the right amount of hold-not stiff or sticky. Gives a nice sheen without looking greasy. It has a nice mild scent and washes out easily. Provides separation and works on longer or shorter hair. Don't need to use much to get desired effect and the 3 oz tub will last a good amount of time without the product going bad or losing it's consistency. The pomade is as good the last use as the first.

    Good Hair

    I bought this hoping it was a light hold, but it is firm! Gave it to my son whom has hair and he likes it a lot. I got it to tame the bozo look. To firm for me.
