    2nd time around

    This is my second 8500 HP printer. I smashed the first one because of an imaginary paper jam. I got this one used. After a good cleaning, new print cartridges and new print heads it is working fine.

    This used printer worked for me.

    The used printer with power supply was well-packaged and arrived intact. It was clean and free of any obvious issues. Both of the print heads (black/yellow and cyan/magenta) needed to be replaced. All of the ink cartridges (black, yellow, cyan and magenta) also needed to be replaced. It is now operational and produces acceptable results.

    Decent printer combo with flaw in the paper tray;.

    I purchased this printer because I wanted a wireless printer. I was difficult to try and hook up wirelessly so I had to go and purchase a USB cord so I was able to print. One problem that I have found is the paper tray. The tray does not extend far enough for you to print and the paper to stay in the tray, it always ends up falling off of the tray. I have used the printer and the copier features, which work very well. The other features (fax & scanner) I have not used as of yet so I am not certain if they work or how well they will work. I might look around a little longer to see if there is anything out there that would be just as good for less money.

    Best HP Printer For CISS Continues INK system, use ony Premium Pigment INK

    Hi to all. If you buying this printer buy not going to modify it with CISS system don’t buy it… you better be of with HP8600 Reason why I bought this printer from eBay because its easiest printer to modify with continues ink system and hp don’t make this printer any more, they replace it with hp 8600… Now I never need to buy expensive ink carriages, after I install CISS system with auto reset chips... if you install CISS system with auto reset chips do not register your printer or connect it to internet it can cause problems… If any one also decides to buy this printer and CISS system - continues ink system you must fill it only with Premium pigment Ink 940 any other ink will clog yours print heads and replace them will cost you about ~$ 70 to 80 If you install CISS system ...

    Another Great printer from HP. love the 8500A, touch screen is nice feature

    Another Great printer from HP.. Very fast, easy setup, wifi enabled, and has built in duplex capability.. very large paper tray, and even has separate ink tanks, for each of the 3 colors and black, so you only have to change the ink tank that is low, instead of the old way, where you had to replace the tri-color cartridge... Scans, faxes copies and printer.. does everything I need it to...I have used it for over a month now, and am very happy with this printer
