    Great pump for great price

    These pumps are for the oldschool 350s with,the bypass on the front of the block . The bypass works only with the old style heads that have this passage on the heads...because the pump spins clockwise it favors the right side ...the bypass correct this problem with the oldschool set up with V belts. I do recommend going with the newer style and plugging that whole and changing your head to the sawtooth or true Vortech 350 heads.. I got the better version and high put a nice paint job on this pump trying to sell it because I do not need it anymore I have a serpentine set up that will not work with this. Those pumps on serpentine spin counterclockwise fixing the problem.

    Poor machining

    The bolts were metric. Chevy water pumps have 3/8 16 bolt threads. That’s not too bad, except my stock Chevy pump pulley wouldn’t fit! Bolt holes were incorrectly drilled, so I had to file out each hole perfectly to avoid vibration. The time I wasted I should have purchased a better quality piece.

    Rusted

    I had this on my car for 2 months in the summer and just from rain and condensation it became full of surface rust. Still works but it is for sure just a cheap product.. do yourself a favor and buy a higher quality one
