    i would say buy it

    i wasnt expecting brilliance but i was surprised at how good it actually is. i found the tunes rattling round in my head for days and was impressed at the diversity of it...just as i was with the 1978 solo album...it rocks hard and then goes much softer with a song thats obviously about his mom dying...the prodigy cover made me smile...who else would have the balls to do such a cover...it is really good and he makes it his own....worth a punt even if it's just for the title track which is hilarious and typical Gene...the kind of tune you would play loudly at bad neighbours...i would say buy it...you might get to love it after a few plays
