    Yes I would recommend the Schlage electronic keypad deadbolt

    This is my 2nd Schlage electronic keypad deadbolt. I now have them on my front and rear entry doors. I purchased the first because my kids were constantly locking themselves out of the house and the second at the request of my wife so that we could lock the front door "deadbolt" after we go outside without needing a key to do so. It is very nice not needing to fumble for a key in the dark or with arms full of groceries. As I am a builder by trade I have used Schlage door hardware for the last 35 years and feel it is the best "bang for your buck" My only complaint is that the size of the electronic unit is a bit bulky so therefore not as pleasing aesthetically (for a front door) but as with all technology this will only get better with time.

    Simple, clean design that works well

    This is not a fancy Wifi-connected motorized lock that someone can hack, which is what I like about it. It's a very simple, clean design that doesn't stand out. It's not motorized, so you have to turn the lock, but that means the battery should last much longer.
