This windshield is way way too tall… I can’t imagine how anybody could use this unless you’re 7 feet…if you are 5’11 This would 5 inches over your line of sight even when all the way down.

    Once fitted nice screen

    This product fits more than one bike model, which is its downside. On my R1250RT the 6 fixing holes (3 each side) are much to big, the center holes allowed the screen to float and were much larger than the "shoulder' on the torx screws, had to manufacturer neoprene washers, also the BMW screen is aprox 4.5 mm thick and the puig is 3mm and the screen holes are HUGH so when the panels which hold the screen on were fitted they did not touch the screen adequately, packing has to be fitted under the screen between the bike height adjusting mechanism and the screen.

    Puig windshield

    It is far superior to the stock windshield, the flex, the wind over my head and around my body. No more buffeting like the stock windshield. It was very easy to install fit perfectly very high-quality material.

    Big windshield, but has drawbacks...

    Nice big windshield came with the K1600GTL. Curved near the top, which pools water when riding in the rain. It is nearly impossible to see through in the rain. The curve at the top also adds some distortion to the main view. If it was a little more compact without the curve, I would definitely recommend. Day time ONLY. Very dangerous in the rain, even more so in the rain at night!
