    Great little camcorder when buying at a used price. Overpriced when they first came out.

    I really appreciate getting this. I needed something simple with good recording quality. I wish it had a better ability to record at night, but as stated...this is not a feature of this camcorder. The price for a new one is very unrealistic. I would say spending $50 for this new would be a more accurate pricing structure. Maybe if it had a powerful microphone and night recording cababilities along with waterproof....then worth paying a higher price.

    Small and Light!

    Good- It's very small and light. Easily fits in a bag. - Memory cards for it are cheap! - Battery seems to last about 3-4 hours. - Video quality is fairly good for being compressed. - Time lapse is an interesting feature. - Optical zoom is quite nice. Bad- Feels cheaply made. - Stabilizing feature does not seem to work all that well. - Occasionally auto-focus does not work and requires the power to be cycled. - Tripod mount does not screw in tightly with some brands. Overall, I'd say if you are looking for a cheap camera with decent video quality this one isn't a bad choice. I bought it because of its size and price and it's worked out well so far.

    Samsung SC-MX20

    When I got this for the first time, I was a little disappointed with the video, but I had to try different settings to make it better. If you buy this one, put it on TV super fine, anti-shake, etc... and it will be excellent. But you will have to play with the settings to find your best results. Also, the finer the settings, it will cost you on storage space, but I got an 8gb sdhc class 6 card and it works best [3 1 hours or storage at the best settings]. If you download to your PC, it will be in .mp4. That much compression makes it jerky, so download "Any Video Converter" on the web and convert it to .avi, .mpg etc.. and it will be smooth. The battery life is excellent and buying backups is around 25.00. For the money, I might buy another if I need to.

    Great camera for amateurs

    Pros: Great zoom, compact & comfortable, video is great for the price, comes with easy to install editing software for uploading to youtube. Cons: Not great in really low light situations. Summary: This Samsung camcorder is great for amateur video takers. It's compact size makes it light weight and not bulky. This is a good starter digital camcorder for parents and young adults. Remember that you get what you pay for. Do not get this camcorder thinking it is going to have superior professional features and video quality.

    Terrific Memory Saver with this Camcorder.

    This is a wonderful camcorder. It is easy to use. We took it on a recent trip and it preformed very well. Loving the memories kept and shared with family. Thank you for a terrific item. God Bless
