Item was advertised as a new 6-pack of smoke detectors. What the seller sent was a box with 2 inoperative used smoke detectors and four bases. Seller would not response to message about what was sent. I had to enlist Ebay's help in getting a refund. I would recommend blacklisting this seller.

The description of the item was a little vague, so I backed off on getting it at first. However, the tool is a 3 speed plus a variable speed, which is what I wanted. The description wasn't clear on that point. Once that got straightened out, it went smoother. The item came in the manufacturer's original box and had never been opened. Shipping was fast and the cost of the tool was well under what Amazon wanted. Was a good deal for sure.
