I tried to get in contact with the seller but they were not helpful. The package they sent got here with nothing inside- the carrier left it at my door and when I picked it up it was empty. I immediately contacted the seller and they did not respond for 3 days. When they finally responded they said they needed notification from the shipper that the package was delivered empty, I had no contact with the shipper, so there was no way to get it. I do not recommend buying from them.

My old rope hinge cracked at the plastic part that holds the rope to the spring. This replacement has a different, but better design. Really easy install too.

Nice product but needs instructions to share adjustments
This is a universal spring set and so it is designed to fit many different models. Some fittings are better than others. On my dishwasher the spring tension was not enough and the door still wanted to lower on its own. Not as bad as when I had a broken spring but not like it should. What I learned on my own (no instructions come with the spring set) is that you can twist the cable mount which will screw it further into the spring and increase the tension. Adding a little dish soap helped the process. Once I did that the door now operates properly.This is a universal spring set and so it is designed to fit many different models. It works!
This kit is the correct replacement part for my Bosch SHE7ER55UC/50 and although it looks and attaches differently, it works as well as the original factory-installed part. I agree with the previous reviewer that detailed installation instructions would be helpful. In order to remove the original springs it is actually necessary to break the plastic tabs that attach those springs to the DW frame. That's OK because those tabs are no longer needed. Once this is done, the new springs are attached by sliding the steel tabs at the back end of these springs into slots (which were previously unused) provided for that purpose.
