Great light weight outdoor knife
The knife is well made. I have large hands and fits my hands properly and secure. Came very sharp. Did some yard work at home and did great cutting limbs and couple branches. Once I go out camping and hunting I can tell more, but so far performed as expected or better.

I have a slight knife addiction. I have not yet checked into blade a Hollacks anonymous. I’m glad that I waited to get this knife first. Most of the time when you purchase a bargain fixed blade knife you get a sheath that is an absolute joke piece of garbage. This sheath is one piece of perfection the knife is another piece of perfection. $26? You will find that this knife is addictive to hold onto and look at. It holds an edge very well and you’ll want to purchase more of them for gifts and then etch the blade or engrave it or something. There are no negatives about this knife $26? I also recently purchased the cold steel trail master in a 01 tool steel. That was $120. This knife is only $26?I have a slight knife addiction. Great value for the price, mine arrived sharp enough to make clean paper cuts.
The Cold Steel Outdoorsman Lite made with 4034 steel is a big improvement to the original thinner 4116 steel blade IMO. Mine came with a decent edge out of the box, and all of the Taiwanese made Cold Steel knives I've encountered have had top notch heat treating, so I'm expecting this blade to perform well. 4034 is known for corrosion resistance, and being tough with acceptable edge retention. The handle is long enough for the biggest hands, and has great grip, with a partially exposed full tang for light hammering. The sheath is functional, plastic, and is okay, but it takes a lot of force to remove the knife. I heated mine and rolled the edge of the opening to make it a little easier to get the knife out. Again you can't expect more without spending more. Overall, if you like this ... This knife is sharp out if the box. Sturdy and easy t handle. Cuts very easy they boxes and limbs. Fits my hand very well and it handles properly without hurting my hand, after an afternoon in the yard.
