These are perfect for what I wanted them for - Holding up sound absorbing panels in studio. I would NOT use them for speaker mounting at gigs - they are not real sturdy. They would be OK for 6" (or less) studio speakers but not for 12-15" House mains. Again - perfect for holding up (with modifications) acoustic panels. Seller is great!!

As advertised. These are lightweight stands. I don't know if I would put more than a 10" or maybe a 12" cabinet on it. I definitely would NOT put a 15" cabinet on it. But perfect for studio monitors, 8" or 10" speakers with a mount hole. The base can make a pretty small footprint. This thing may get a little shaky when raised high with a bunch of weight on it.
